US based, African Travel Association's World Congress, May 2012, Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe
ATA, the New York based travel association, held their annual signature event at Victoria Falls Zimbabwe in May providing a networking, learning and agenda-shaping platform for 300 travel professionals from around the world. The event addressed timely industry topics and offered professional development opportunities. Delegates also participated in roundtables for tourism ministers, an African Bazaar for buyers and sellers, and networking events.
Atta, The African Travel & Tourism Association, was represented by Chairman Anita Powell and Southern Africa Director Ross Kennedy. Atta's CEO, Nigel Vere Nicoll, made a key-note presentation on African tourism on the opening day of the conference.
