ABOUT US
We operate a 6-tent safari camp within Manyara Ranch Conservancy and have exclusive operating rights to 35000 acres of the ranch. The ranch is an important wildlife corridor between Manyara and Tarangire National Parks frequented by large numbers of elephant, lion and other wildlife. A main attraction is the exclusivity of use we offer our clients. We specialize in game walks, riding and other activities that are subject to relatively few restrictions otherwise common in the parks.
THE VACANCY
We are seeking to employ a walking guide with trails experience who will also host guests and be the overall responsible for the camp.
KEY REQUIREMENTS:
- Plan and execute all guest activities with a particular focus on leading game walks and night drives.
- The candidate should ideally have completed Trail Guide FGASA Level 2 (or higher) training or equivalent and be experienced in handling firearms in a Big Game environment.
- Responsible for the overall running of the camp including guest service delivery and guiding.
- Hosting clients and maintaining standards of food and beverage from variety, ordering, costing, storage, preparation and presentation.
