Uncharted Africa Safari co. (www.unchartedafrica.com) owns and operates four camps in the Makgadikgadi Salt Pans, Botswana as well as a Mobile Safari operation, which operates throughout Botswana.
We’re looking for a highly motivated individual who has at least 2 years experience in a marketing environment, ideally in the Botswana or Southern African luxury travel industry. This role requires an excellent communicator who is organised, efficient, self motivated, goal driven, and with the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines. The role would include some of the following sales, marketing and administrative duties:

Represent the Company at any required trade shows and/or sales trips.

Assist in market analysis.

Develop, refine and update the existent company database.

Assist in the development of communication strategies.

Investigate and propose strategy to maximise business opportunities in established as well as new markets.

Handle media queries relating to: property inspections, property information, photographic material and information requests.

Assist in establishing the Sales and Marketing Strategy including the producing of all relevant Reports.
