Our small, personalised services are based in Arusha, Tanzania where we operate cultural and adventure safaris. This portfolio is complemented by lodge, camping, cultural and trekking trips that offer more dynamic and active element to the classic vehicle-based safaris. Throughout, we seek to introduce clients to the whole of Tanzania, as opposed to simply the animals, and wherever possible, include options to meet the people and encounter the myriad of tribal cultures that embellish everyday life in this fascination Country. To cater to the various requirements of the modern tourist market, we offer set group departures to which single travellers or client that want to join other’s, and the tailored itinerary for clients that want something more specific. We offer a range of camping options as well as lodges – permanent, mobile and adventure camping – using high quality equipment throughout so that camping need not be at the expense of comfort.

Our Commitment to Responsible Tourism

Albatros Travel also has a huge focus on our comitment as a company to responsible tourism. We are member of Eco tourism Kenya and try where possible to only book camps and loges that have been vetted by them and deamed to be taking the right steps in protecting our environment. Our headoffice in Denmark provide all its regional offices with guildlines that we must adhear to. These include not only taking the right steps when booking safaris but also in the way we run our offices and take care of our staff all of which we belive adds up to us as a company taking responsibility for our immediate environment as well as the environment we expose our clients to.
