Gamewatchers Safaris have been operating for over 20 years and are based in Nairobi. They specialize in tailor-made wildlife safaris and community-based eco-tourism to conserve habitat for animals in the wilds of Kenya. They arrange safaris to the best parks and reserves staying in the smaller, more exclusive camps and using 4 wheel drive safari vehicles for game drives, not vans. Transfers from Nairobi are usually by air direct to the parks to cut out long journeys across country and to give more time for viewing wildlife. Safaris available to the following areas: Amboseli, Sweetwaters, Ol Pejeta, Laikipia, Samburu, Lewa Downs, Lake Nakuru, Maasai Mara, Tsavo, Meru, Shompole. Gamewatchers also run the small and exclusive PORINI safari camps in private wilderness reserves: Porini Amboseli Camp in the Selenkay Conservancy, Porini Rhino Camp in Ol Pejeta Conservancy, Porini Mara Camp in the Ol Kinyei Conservancy and Porini Lion Camp in the Olare Orok Conservancy. Porini Camp game drives are in open-sided 4x4 safari vehicles, with expert safari guides, for the best wildlife safari viewing, and the option of air transfers as an alternative to driving by road between the parks. Gamewatchers also runs Nairobi Tented Camp in the Nairobi National park, home to rhino, lions and numerous other game - the best way to start your safari and avoid the Nairobi traffic.  Gamewatchers also operates Adventure Camps in their Selenkay and Ol Kinyei Conservancies where clients can have a high quality safari experience but staying in simple dome tents and at an amazing bargain price.
