Presently The Kobo Trust is aiding several charity initiatives across Eastern and Southern Africa as seen below;

Mama Tunza Children’s Centre - Kenya: Tunza has its roots back in 1997 when the founder Mrs. Dimminah Khasiala, who by then was a housemaid, collected a child from a dumping site in the world's second largest slum - Kibera; before long another child was brought to Mama and with time she was operating an orphanage in her small rental room.

Mangola Education Project - Tanzania: The project's main objective is to equip schools in Mangola with books and desks; the project is being coordinated by Spanish Priests that have been living in the area for 20 years, near Lake Eyasi in Tanzania.

Anidan - Kenya: Anidan aims to establish orphanages for marginalised boys and girls who do not have family roots. In addition Anidan provides them with basic social services, with special emphasis on food, health and education all of which in concurrence with the principles contained in the Declaration of the Rights of the Children upheld by the United Nations.

Philisa Abafazi Bethu - South Africa: Philisa Abafazi Bethu is located in the Lavender Hill area outside of Cape Town, South Africa. Philisa Abafazi Bethu is a project that supports women in crisis such as single mothers, HIV sufferers and abused spouses who need a refuge and shelter to protect them; as well as giving them opportunities to master skills to earn a living.

The Hadzabe Tribe, Tanzania: This project aims at providing quality education to the Hadza children in surrounding schools to preserve their culture. As well as training six Hadza's as guides who speak fluent Swahili, teaching them to interact well with tourists and guides to help benefit their community.
