African Bush Camps is an owner run Safari Company focused on providing guests with an intimate and unique view of the 'Old Untouched Africa'.

Having developed a portfolio of camps in Botswana and Zimbabwe anc expanding into Zambia in 2017 the African Bush Camps portfolio includes the following:

African Bush Camps has made it their quest to share with their guests, the wildest and remote parts of Africa in a responsible and sustainable manner, providing an authentic safari experience whilst ensuring the cultures and wildlife in these areas are conserved for future generations.

The African Bush Camps Foundation is a registered non-profit charity in Zimbabwe with local trustee’s who are recognized specialists in fields of business, conservation, legal and human rights knowledge as well as education. The vision of the African Bush Camps Foundation is to empower communities through the practice of responsible tourism, and ensure that the ‘tourism dollar’ has a meaningful impact; creating long-lasting development with regards to conservation, education, and resource management. The mission is to effect real and lasting change to rural communities that are in close proximity to wildlife areas in Zimbabwe and Botswana where African Bush Camps operate, and to conserve the environment through these communities.

Our Commitment to Responsible Tourism

African Bush Camps have committed themselves to responsible tourism through the development of the African Bush Camps Foundation.

Made up of local trustee’s who are recognized specialists in fields of business, education, conservation, and legal and human rights knowledge, the vision of the African Bush Camps Foundation is to empower communities through the practice of responsible tourism, and ensure that the ‘tourism dollar’ has a meaningful impact; creating long-lasting development with regards to conservation, education, and resource management.
