African Bush Camps has initiated a fund raising campaign known as 'H2O Hwange' where they have pledged to support National Parks and various other organisations in their endeavors to supply water to areas of the Hwange National Park where the natural pans and water-holes have dried up.
Following a very poor rainy season, Zimbabwe’s Hwange National Park faces a critical and potentially devastating dry season as the country experience’s a national drought.

In an effort to help save the environment, African Bush Camps has introduced a personal gift for each of their guests labelled ‘The Safari Companion’. African Bush Camps have added two new airstrips to their portfolio in Zimbabwe.
Manga Airstrip, in the heart of Hwange National Park, is a mere 30 minute drive from Somalisa Private Concession where Somalisa Camp and Somalisa Acacia are located. Approved by the Civil Aviation Authority of Zimbabwe, the Civil Aviation Inspector dubbed the airstrip to be 'the best bush landing airstrip in Zimbabwe'.

As the year draws to an end, we celebrate Kanga Bush Camps first season in operation. This year has had many highlights for us, with excellent game viewing, exciting walking and of course our amazing clients. Ending off with a pack of Wild dogs taking up residence at Kanga pan.
