Maisha - Introduction of new air ambulance schemes

AMREF Flying Doctors has introduced new air ambulance schemes aimed at providing quality and affordable medical evacuation services throughout the Eastern Africa region.

The new scheme known as Maisha targets individuals and corporate annual subscribers.  Maisha covers the East Africa region, including: Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda, Rwanda, Burundi, Zanzibar, Ethiopia and South Sudan.

Some of the benefits of AMREF Flying Doctors Annual Subscription include:

1. Two evacuation flights per year
2. Two ground ambulance transfers per year within Kenya
3. Direct access to our 24 Hour Control Centre for medical advice
4. Direct access to the air ambulance provider, no third party

Maisha offers four different level of cover:

1. Maisha Bronze - Kenya (Air and Ground Evacuation)
2. Maisha Silver - Kenya, Tanzania, Zanzibar
3. Maisha Gold - Kenya, Tanzania, Zanzibar, Uganda, Rwanda, Burundi
4. Maisha Platinum - Kenya, Tanzania, Zanzibar, Uganda, Rwanda, Burundi, South Sudan, Ethiopia
