C & P Portfolio
The C&P Portfolio is a collection of 8 award winning boutique camps and lodges with outstanding environmental credentials. It offers a taste of private Africa in spectacular locations.
Each property has its own character and style yet a common theme: small, elegant & unique properties with an eye for detail.
Beyond luxurious bedrooms and infinity swimming pools, the main focus at all of our properties is the actual experience – the feeling of having a whole conservancy to yourself, or being shown and taught about fascinating species of wildlife by expert guides.
A relaxed atmosphere combined with tailormade activities, stunning views, mouth-wateringly fresh and simple Mediterranean cuisine and welcoming service is experienced at all the properties... romantic, exotic and mysterious!

Charities we are proud to support:
At all of the Cheli & Peacock properties, we ensure that nearby communities receive a tangible benefit from tourism and, in 2010, we launched The Cheli & Peacock Community Trust to formalize our existing community and conservation efforts.
The Trust runs a number of small community projects we call “Small Things”, which are open to client donations where even the most modest contributions make a difference. Under this umbrella, we started by fundraising for various education initiatives, including a school text book donation project at Elsa’s Kopje, building a dormitory at Tortilis Camp, constructing a teacher’s block at Kitich Camp and raising funds for furniture, teachers’ salaries and a school food programme at Joy’s Camp.
In addition to these ‘Small Things’, the Trust oversees the fundraising and project management for various conservation initiatives.
In order to facilitate the donor, we are working on tax-free donation status and have bank accounts in both Kenya and the UK.
Please visit our website for details on all current and future projects.

Our Commitment to Responsible Tourism
For 27 years, before “eco-tourism” became a buzzword, Cheli & Peacock has been an innovator and leader in community revenue sharing tourism projects. With the majority of Kenya’s spectacular wildlife living outside National Parks on private and community land, we believe that having a strong connection with communities surrounding the parks is paramount to the future of Kenya’s wildlife.
At all of the Cheli & Peacock properties, we ensure that nearby communities receive a tangible benefit from tourism. We support local schools and clinics, take clients to visit villages where they often purchase locally made gifts, employ and train local staff, procure vegetables and woodwork from local suppliers and over the years have opened up new areas for tourism, bringing revenue to struggling conservation areas and marginalized communities.
