Kenya Airways encouraging results
Kenya Airways have reported a strong performance in the year ending March 2012. Sales to Southern Africa showed the strongest growth up 26% whilst performance to Europe, despite difficult conditions, showed a rise of 9%. The airline has also indicated that it will re-introduce its Cape Town route and intends to start direct flights to Durban. KQ also announced that it will start a new African low cost airline Jambo Jet later this year.
