Lee is a Partner within Mayo Wynne Baxter’s Dispute Resolution Department and heads the firm’s Travel Sector Team. Previously, Lee was Head of the Insurance & Liability Department and Travel & Aviation Team at another large regional law firm. He has worked for the travel and insurance sectors for the last 30 years representing tour operators, travel agents, trade associations and tourist boards, destination management companies and suppliers as well as insurers, Lloyds syndicates, and loss adjusters.
In addition to acting in high value and high profile litigation cases, Lee also advises travel businesses on regulatory and commercial issues, risk management and claims avoidance and coordinates the Team’s approach to providing a “one stop shop” for legal advice to the firm’s travel industry clients, including commercial, employment and regulatory matters.
Lee is a regular speaker at legal seminars and also provides in house training to travel and insurance clients.
He previously sat for a number of years as an elected member of ABTA’s Travel Industry Partner Steering Committee and is recognised in Chambers UK as a “leader in the field” of travel law (international personal injury) and in Legal 500 for Defendant insurance.
Lee is a Fellow of the Institute of Travel and Tourism, a Member of the Pacific Asia Travel Association UK, the Latin American Travel Association and the African Travel and Tourism Association.
He is also a Committee Member of the Travel and Tourism Lawyers’ Association and belongs to the International Forum of Travel and Tourism Advocates. Lee is also an accredited Mediator.
Colin McGregor is Managing Director of tranquilico a specialist consultancy offering health, safety and crisis management services primarily to the travel, leisure and education sectors. This includes tour operators, travel agents, adventure holiday companies, independent schools, DMC’s, youth, student & school travel organisations and sports teams and their tour companies.
tranquilico has been successfully operating since 2008 and is now in its 12th year of operation.
Our main focus is preparing crisis management policies, procedures and training and assisting with crisis response.
In addition, tranquilico.com installs health & safety due diligence safety management systems and provides auditing and incident investigation services.

Prior to setting up tranquilico, Colin worked for more than 26 years in travel for Thomson, MyTravel & Thomas Cook, primarily dealing with Health & Safety and Crisis Management issues affecting these businesses.
Colin was Chairman of the FTO Health & Safety Committee, has spoken widely at international conferences and continues to carry out training and overseas inspections worldwide.
