Migration Update - 21st May 2007

Despite the heavy rains early on in the Green season, the southern plains have dried out quickly over recent weeks. Until the last few days, there had been no substantial rainfall in the area and the grasses and temporary water holes had started to dry out. The Park Authority had started its early burn policy to try and reduce the danger of full scale bush fires later on.
