Classic Representation - Zambian Camps

It is the time of year where the Zambian bush becomes accessible again for the 2011 season and it is promising to be outstanding! The Zambezi River is ebbing as they closed one of the Kariba Dam gates this week.

CHIAWA CAMP and OLD MONDORO are open and prepared for the promising year ahead after Chiawa winning the Best Safari Property in Africa at the Good Safari Awards this year in May.

The South Luangwa is also re-awakening with REMOTE AFRICA SAFARIS already welcoming their first guests to both Chikoko Trails and Tafika this month. Game is outstanding as ever in this northern region of the South Luangwa National Park which will only get better as the season progresses.

THE BUSHCAMP COMPANY finishes their two year refurbishment with the re-opening of BILIMUNGWE in late June. Bilimungwe has had 2 new watering holes built around camp with it's characteristic termite mound. The suites have been enlarged and are all perched on the waters edge. Images will soon be on our site:
