Counting Hippos with The Far Horizons

The Far Horizons are pleased to be able to offer an exciting new experiential activity for clients travelling to Uganda between 9th Feb and 3rd March 2012. Visitors to Queen Elizabeth National Park will be able to apply for a limited number of places to participate in next year's Hippo Census and contribute to a genuine conservation exercise.

Participants will join the Uganda Wildlife Authority research teams conducting the study to collect data to monitor long term trends in Hippo populations and their distribution across the park. 

As there are only 28 places available in a limited timeframe, anyone taking part in this unique activity will genuinely be one of only a handful of lucky people to do so.
