The Flying Doctors Society enters Partnership with Go Places Privilege Card

The Flying Doctors Society of Africa (FDSA) has entered into a partnership with the Go Places Privilege card with effect from 1st December 2011. The partnership will see members of each organization receiving a discount on membership of the other organization. With this, members of FDSA will have access to hundreds of suppliers in Kenya and enjoy fantastic discounts. Members of the Go Places Privilege card will in turn enjoy the security and peace of mind that an FDSA membership provides.

The Flying Doctors’ Society of Africa was established in 1971, to raise funds for the AMREF Specialist Outreach Programme and charity evacuation programme through a membership scheme which guarantees a free evacuation per year to paid-up members in the event of a life threatening medical emergency. The Society is a charitable organization, which puts to good use all unutilized subscriptions not spent on evacuations by funding the Charity Evacuation and Outreach Programme. Since its inception, the Society has contributed at least KShs 1 billion shillings to AMREF.

The Go Places Privilege Card is a discount card accepted at over 500 establishments within Kenya. Card holders enjoy discounts ranging from 5%-40% at Airlines, Hotels, Lodges, Restaurants, Clothing Stores, Gift Shops, Furniture, Jewelers, Opticians, Dry Cleaners, Hair & Beauty, Health & Fitness and much more.
