Flightlink is expanding their service

Flightlink has added 1 Pre owned and 1 Factory Brand new and reliable G1000 equipped Cessna Grand Caravan 208B 2012 Model Aircraft under its fleet of 7 aircrafts to enhance its schedule network for 2012/13.  In addition, Flightlink has added two more travel options to its domestic destination network as part of the airline’s continuous development to extend its coverage across the Tanzania.

Arusha has now followed Dar es Salaam to become the airlines second hub. This reflects the airline’s increasing focus on extending its Serengeti network as part of the airline’s program to offer an unrivalled service across ‘Northern Circuit’. Adding more destinations and frequencies to airline’s existing schedule flights will give more travel options to the passengers in terms of timings and onward flight connections to Arusha and Kilimanjaro.

The routes between Arusha and Kilimanjaro will operate twice daily to Serengeti (Seronera, Grumeti & Kogatende) and onwards to Dar es Salaam, Zanzibar, Pemba and SELOUS.

The Arusha-Zanzibar Schedule will be serviced once daily by Flight link’s Dornier 228 a twin-turboprop STOL utility aircraft which is able to accommodate 18 passengers with 2 Pilots and baggage allowance of 15kgs on hold and 5kgs as hand carry.

Flight links MD, Captain Munawar Dhirani, is confident these introductions will further strengthen the upcoming airline that has enjoyed a year of successes. He commented, ‘Expanding the reach of our service is a key to the popularity of our airline. The most recent additions follow closely behind the start of flights to Iringa and Mbeya via Dodoma. This service is especially tailored to the parliamentary, agricultural and mining executives flying in from various parts of the countries.

Exciting developments for 2012 include a twice daily (AM & PM) Schedule Service from Dar es Salaam to Pemba via Zanzibar.
