Jenman Safaris “strips” to support the rhinos!
By Jenman African Safaris
We're not yet 5 months into 2012 and already 160 rhino carcasses have been discovered in South Africa - more than 2 rhino per day. Appalling news - these tragic numbers put us on track to see some of the greatest losses of the animals in South African history, surpassing last year’s record number, a barbaric 443 poached rhinos. It has been reported that at the present rate, South Africa’s rhino will enter population decline by mid 2012 and according to a recent estimate, rhinos will vanish from South African parks by 2015 if current poaching rates continue.
A group of ladies and gents at the Jenman Safaris’ Cape Town head office decided to take some action and do something different to support the fight against rhino poaching! The brave and wildly attractive staff at Jenman Safaris decided to shed their clothes - and inhibitions - for a new approach at rhino conservation with their first ever photographic calendar….
By selling these semi-nude, yet tasteful calendars, they/we are able to raise much-needed money to support the fight against rhino poaching! Therefore 100% of the profit of these calendars will be donated to Project Rhino KZN – our chosen charity!
