Vamizi Island Management Update
Vamizi Island are delighted to announce that Richard Tewnion has been appointed as the new Lodge Manager for Vamizi Island Lodge, Mozambique. Richard has worked in hospitality for 16 years and came to Vamizi in 2011. He brings a wealth of hospitality experience to this new role. New Birdwatching Activities near the Udzungwa Mountains National Park Tanzania
A new community project has started at Magombera Forest Fragment (very close to UMNP HQ) where local villagers benefit from tourist fees. This fragment has both Red and Black and White Colobus Monkeys and there is a pool frequented by Pels Fishing Owl.
