KQ Gets Malawi Government Approval to Fly into Blantyre

Proflight Zambia gets its first jet!
Proflight Zambia will be introducing its first jet aircraft, a Boeing 737 on the Ndola and Livingstone routes from 15th May 2013. Proflight, the only Zambian airline, flies a fleet of turbo prop planes (Cessna Caravan 12 seats, Jetstream 32's 18 seats, and the 29 seater Jetstream 41's). Mombasa Air Announces Nbi-Mara Service
MOMBASA AIR SAFARI, the longest serving Airline operating on the Mombasa-Amboseli-Mara route, has now announced the launch of its Nbi Wilson-Mara schedule service with effect from the 1st of July 2013. The Airline will operate two daily departures from Nbi Wilson Airport, the morning service departing at 1000 hrs and the afternoon service at 1500 hrs.

Kenya Airways Increases Frequency to Kisumu
National carrier Kenya Airways has increased the frequency of its flights to Kisumu as it moves to satisfy surging demand on the route. From April 1, 2013, the airline introduced an additional evening flight and another morning one every day. This will bring to 34 the number of times that Kenya Airways flies to Kisumu every week, up from the 25 times it did previously.
