Wildebeest Migration
By Serengeti Balloon Safaris25th December 2013
Serengeti Balloon Safaris conducted their first balloon safari of this season in Serengeti South this morning.
The Great Migration is well and truly here.
Some 90% of the flight today was over the vast herds of wildebeest and zebra. Apart from the countless migrating wildebeest and zebra, other sightings from the balloon today were lions, cheetah, hyena, buffalo and Grant’s gazelles.
Serengeti Balloon Safaris operate in Serengeti South from December 25th 2013 through to end of March 2014.
