Bartholomeus Klip's cook book "Life on a Cape Farm"
Bartholomeus Klip’s newly published award-winning cook book ‘Life on a Cape Farm’ offers a journey through recipes into the daily activities at Bartholomeus Klip, as well as an insight into their 9th generation working farm and fair trade principles.
With Bartholomeus Klip already famous for incredible cuisine, the cook book makes a wonderful gift to your clients at the end of their stay, or on completion of Bartholomeus Klip’s increasingly popular cooking classes. Huge congratulations to twin sisters Lesley and Louise Gillett who manage Bartholomeus Klip and co-wrote the book after many requests from guests for their secret family recipes.
Lesley draws on years of experience in the hospitality industry and is the manager of the farmhouse. Louise is the head chef who has honed her skills in some of the top restaurants in South Africa and the United Kingdom. Life on a Cape Farm is their first cookbook, and will certainly leave you hungry for more.
Bartholomeus Klip is in the Western Cape, only an hour and ten minutes from Cape Town, and only half an hour from the winelands. For more information please contact Kate Coleridge or Sacha Craig at admin@handpickedafrica.co.uk
