Free Swaziland Education 13 - 17 May 2014
The SWAZILAND TOURISM AUTHORITY (STA) is organising two short educational/familiarisation tours of Swaziland for a small group of tour operators/travel agents immediately after Indaba in May.
The two tours will have a different emphasis with the first, ŒComfort¹ itinerary focussed on Swaziland¹s top accommodation offerings; and the second ŒAdventure & Culture¹ itinerary highlighting some of the variety of activities available in this small nation.
Transport and accommodation in Swaziland on these Educationals is offered FREE to product managers who have a genuine interest in adding Swaziland to their destinations, or expanding their Swaziland coverage. Return transport (by road or air) to Swaziland from South Africa is also expected to be offered at a concessionary rate.
Although the dates have been set immediately after Indaba for convenience, participation is invited from relevant tour operators whether or not they have attended Indaba.
These Educationals are part of a concerted drive to promote Swaziland as a destination in its own right, as it truly deserves to be. The itineraries offered will cover Swaziland¹s highlights, including a cross-section of both the cultural and natural variety of the country. Precise itinerary details have still to be confirmed and will aim to cover the requirements of all participants. Below are EXAMPLE itineraries based on last year¹s educationals. Wildlife, scenic and cultural aspects will all be included as last year, though specific lodges and hotels may vary.
The itineraries will begin on 13 May, the day after Indaba and run for 5 days, ending on 17 May.
Those interested should email firstname.lastname@example.org as soon as possible. There are limited places and it is intended that these will be allocated by the STA shortly.
