Wilderness Safaris reducing plastic waste
By Wilderness Safaris
In support of World Water Day on March 22, Wilderness Safaris has been investigating ways to eliminate bottled water in its camps.
North Island in the Seychelles has been a particular point of focus for the operator as it has not managed to achieve the same success in reducing bottled water as other Wilderness Safari camps. As such, the operator has partnered with Vivreau water systems to produce both pure and sparkling water on site. The initiative has thus far reduced bottled water consumption by over 40%.
