Redesign for Protea Hotel Fire & Ice! Cape Town
By Protea Hospitality Group
Protea Hotel Fire & Ice! Cape Town, is undergoing a full refurbishment to the downstairs public spaces.
The reception area, bar, lounge, restaurant, Coughin’ Room, Bree Street deck, New Church Street deck and the lift lobby are all being revamped.
Danny Bryer, Director of Sales, Marketing & revenue for Protea Hotels, says the redesign is sleek and fits the new, modern Protea Hotel Fire & Ice!
“We’re blown away by the new design. It makes a statement. We’re doing incredibly exciting things with glass and lighting that will make it feel like an entirely different space, depending on what time of day you walk into the hotel.”
The renovated public spaces will be revealed on September 1.
The hotel remains open for business during the renovation. Bryer says there is some noise but it is limited to weekday working hours to avoid disturbing guests.
