Go Places, the flagship brand for Leisure & Travel Guides East Africa has entered into a mutually benefiting agreement with Ecotourism Kenya ahead of the 2014 Eco-Warrior Awards to be held 9th October at the Carnivore Restaurant in Nairobi.
The two companies put ink to paper for the deal whereby Go Places will be the official and exclusive Media and Travel partner for the forthcoming Eco-Warrior Awards. The publication company will through its award winning online and print platforms disseminate information on the Awards, in the build up as well as after the main awards gala dinner night.
With this deal, member establishments of Ecotourism Kenya will enjoy exclusive subsidized promotion and marketing partnerships on both Print & Online versions of Go Places Magazine; tailormade E-Marketing solutions to a large database of tourism and hospitality partners locally, regionally and internationally; Social Media marketing & promotion; special packages promoted through Go Places Tours & Travel as well as presence in the Go Places website which was recently listed among Africa's top ten most authoritative portals in tourism.
The agreement was officially signed by the Go Places Group CEO Mansoor Jiwani and the CEO of Eco-Tourism Kenya Ms Grace Nderitu at the Eco Tourism Kenya headquarters in Nairobi.
Speaking during the signing ceremony, Go Places Group CEO Mansoor Jiwani expressed the group's commitment to support the efforts by Ecotourism Kenya noting that sustainable development was a vital component in the tourism sector and players in the industry all had a responsibility to play in promoting eco-friendly practices in their everyday operations.
Ecotourism Kenya promotes responsible tourism practices within the tourism industry by encouraging the adoption of best practices in the use of tourism resources, working with local communities and managing waste and emissions.
