Botswana: An Evening with Ralph Bousfield
On 14th January 2015, Jacada Travel and Botswana Tourism will be hosting an evening about Botswana at London's Royal Geographical Society.
Ralph Bousfield, owner of luxury safari company Uncharted Africa and one of the most respected and renowned guides in Africa, will be talking about the history of conservation in Botswana, followed by a Q&A with the audience.
Joss Kent (CEO of andBeyond) will then introduce the Rhinos Without Borders project, for which we will be fundraising during the evening.

After the talks, there will be drinks and snacks with the winner of our silent auction announced by the bar at around 9pm (we will be taking bids on a Botswana safari worth £15,000 before and after the talks).
There will also be an exclusive private viewing of Thomas Baines' watercolours, which are amongst the first images of Botswana. Baines travelled through southern Africa with David Livingstone until the pair fell out, and Ralph will be using these images in his talk.
Tickets are £10 each, which includes a drink. Doors open at 6pm and the lecture starts at 7pm.
