Kenya Airways’ Dreamliner to operate on the London route in January 2015

Kenya Airways’ new B787 Dreamliner will operate from London to Nairobi on January 20th 2015.

Kenya Airways B787 Dreamliner aircraft has a capacity of 234 custom-made seats – 30 fully flat in Premier World and 204 in economy. Featuring the very latest in aerodynamics, design and advanced technologies, it comprises massive 19 inch tall windows with electronic dimmers at each seat whose shades can be adjusted automatically from transparent to dark. This is 30% bigger than the similarly sized aircraft.  Among the enhanced features of this highly fuel efficient aircraft is a vaulted ceiling that stretches the length and width of the cabin.

For Economy Class, the Dreamliner offers 32 inch seat pitch seats, also a cut above the rest with articulating seat bottoms for better legroom, four-way adjustable headrests, in-flight handset seatback and large 10.6 inch touch screen monitors. Each seat also has a USB port, with power sockets strategically installed throughout the cabin.

The Dreamliner, KQ101 bound for Nairobi takes off on, January 20, 2015, at 1900hrs and arrives at 0630hrs local time at destination.
