Rainbow Tours releases its ‘Top 20 Trips’ list

Rainbow Tours has curated a list of its Top 20 Trips across Africa and Latin America, singling out some of the most exciting destinations and unique experiences across each continent.

Highlights for Africa include visiting the Timkat festival in Ethiopia; travelling through South Africa, Botswana and Zimbabwe on the Rovos Rail; and a self-drive tour around the volcanoes and peaks of Réunion Island. Wildlife experiences inevitably feature strongly in the list, including walking safaris in Zambia’s South Luangwa National Park, water-based game-viewing in Botswana’s Okavango Delta and a luxury flying safari of Kenya. Viewing mountain gorillas in Rwanda and lemurs in Madagascar are also included in the list.

“Seasoned Africa travellers will be aware of the distinct attractions of each region, but we know that some first-time visitors can regard Africa as one destination, rather than a collection of vast and individual countries,” comments David Pointer, Senior Product Manager for Rainbow Tours. “Within our Top 20 Trips, we’re keen to illustrate the continent’s variety - the difference in the wildlife you’ll see, how you’ll view it and what other geographical features and cultural experiences are found in each different country. The itineraries we’ve included in our Top 20 Trips demonstrate some of the most enticing and memorable experiences across Africa.”

Rainbow Tours’ Top 20 Trips brochure was sent to subscribers of Lonely Planet Traveller and the trips will feature on the Rainbow Tours facebook page - www.facebook.com/RainbowToursUK. The complete collection can be browsed at http://www.rainbowtours.co.uk/top-20-trips/ or in the digital brochure here.
