Wilderness Safaris and North Island Renew Strategic Partnership

Wilderness Safaris and North Island are delighted to announce that they have renewed their strategic partnership to continue focusing on delivering the world’s ultimate private-island experience in Seychelles.

Newly-appointed Managing Director for North Island, Bruce Simpson – who ran and oversaw North Island operations for over 12 years while employed by Wilderness Safaris – will continue to play an important role in the Island’s operations, reservations and marketing. Nick Solomon remains at the helm as General Manager, based on the Island. In turn, North Island will remain part of Wilderness’ exclusive portfolio and will continue to be an important part of the company’s overall marketing and sales strategic objectives.

Wilderness Safaris will maintain the Island’s marketing and sales in the traditional markets, whilst North Island will take on the direct responsibility of sales and marketing in emerging markets, namely GCC (Gulf Cooperation Council)/Middle East and Eastern Europe (including Russia), as well as the Island’s Inbound partners in Seychelles and selected partners in South Africa.

“We are delighted to continue our association with this incredible destination which is extremely close to our hearts. We have a long history with North Island and are really proud of what we have achieved over the past 19 years, especially with regards to the ongoing conservation and island rehabilitation success stories”, said Dave Bennett, Wilderness Safaris Chief Sales Officer.

“We are also thrilled to continue working closely with Bruce and the North Island team to maintain the seamless service to both our trade partners and guests”.
