Shawu, the little orphan baby elephant
JabulaniOn Monday, 21st November 2016, a baby elephant estimated to be about 4 months old was brought to HESC. The young elephant was found wandering on his own on the reserve next to the R40 tarred road. When the elephant arrived at HESC he was given an intravenous drip as he was dehydrated.
