Mahlatini Luxury Travel enters a brand new era
By *Christopher Goldring, Mahlatini Luxury TravelMahlatini, the UK’s Best Safari, Wildlife and Nature Holiday Company has opened the doors on its first permanent base in Africa, with a dedicated sales and product office in Cape Town. Founded in 2002, Mahlatini is a specialist tour operator with an exclusive focus on tailor-made travel to Southern and East Africa, along with the Indian Ocean Islands.
Co-founder and Director of Sales, Greg Fox leads the SA division. “First-hand product knowledge and excellent supplier relationships are central to Mahlatini’s success. As the company continues to grow exponentially it was a natural move for us to have a physical presence in South Africa.” Greg is supported by three senior travel experts in the Cape Town office – Nicki Mulherbe Wray, Monique van Eeden and Bjorn van Huyssteen - new recruits to the Mahlatini family, but with a combined 60 years’ plus experience in tailormade African luxury travel.
This week Mahlatini marks another landmark in their company history, as they unveil a new brand identity aligned to their vision. Chris Goldring, Co-founder and Director of Operations explains, “Our new script-style logo mark reflects the personalised service and unique nature of every trip we design. Our new tagline, ‘Life’s great journeys’, recognises the privilege we feel in creating life-changing travel experiences, often in celebration of our clients’ personal life milestones.”
The rebrand programme includes a top-to-bottom redesign of the company’s website (www.mahlatini.com), all digital and print communications, as well as the launch of a signature video.
