Jenman African Safaris is committed to actively involving their guests in responsible tourism.  From refusing to offer activities that involve unethical animal interaction to encouraging guests to bring along much-needed school supplies for Pack4aPurpose, we also donate a percentage of all guests’ trips to the Grow Africa Foundation. Near the end of November, many people focused on deals that they can take advantage of on Black Friday, a day that has increasingly grown in popularity over the years. This year Jenman decided to take part in this phenomenon but with a distinctively different goal. We wanted to move away from the materialism and greed that can be associated with Black Friday and focus on doing something positive for the communities and protected spaces of the areas we operate in. We gave guests a 15 % discount on popular tours and selected departure dates, however 5 % of that discount went to Grow Africa to support the Project Penya initiative. Through the support of our clients’, this Growvember we were able to raise over €3000. A real special with a difference.
