Interest levels in Sierra Leone have never been higher. Now, we want to meet to discuss your views, requirements and suggestions on how we can maximise this new found attention!

The very idea that this West Africa country might become a top tourist destination seemed a distant dream less than a decade ago. But pleasingly, times have rapidly changed. Sierra Leone has a host of fascinating attractions - from Bunce Island (slave history), Tiwai Island and its primates, Gola National Park, diamond mines, Tacugama Chimpanzee Sanctuary, Banana Island, bustling villages and towns (especially Freetown) and last but not least, those amazing unspoilt tropical beaches!

So, you are now invited by His Excellency, High Commissioner Tamba Lamina to participate in an open discussion from 12.45 - 3.00pm on Thursday 6th June.  Attendees will also include the Minister of Tourism and the Acting General Manager of Sierra Leone National Tourism Board. So you will be heard by the right people.Topics for discussion include access, safety, accommodation options, itineraries, visas as well as news on our marketing activities (including media trips and trade fam trips) and investment opportunities.

The event is open to travel professionals, travel writers and editors. Please book your place via [email protected]
