The Enjoolata Centre
We are proud to announce that the construction of the Enjoolata Centre is underway at Basecamp Masai Mara. The Enjoolata Centre is an education and entertainment centre which aims to inspire the Maasai community to come together to make a difference through awareness creation.
The centre’s design will incorporate facilities such as a video editing room where guests can edit the images and videos taken during your safari with Basecamp, a library that will provide books and videos on wildlife, a movie hall featuring videos about wildlife and uniquely selected classics as well as a workshop for the Basecamp Maasai Brand (BMB) a community-based handicraft workshop that empowers disadvantaged Maasai women.
The centre will also help enrich the young guests learning process by introducing them to the Maasai way of life. We will have on display various items connecting them to wildlife, environment and Maasai culture.
