Borana2018 was a fantastic year for rhinos between Borana Conservancy and Lewa Wildlife Conservancy. The Lewa-Borana Landscape is proud to report a total of 18 rhino births in 2018, supported by over five years of zero poaching. Borana Lodge is the only property on this landscape to commit all retained earnings from tourism to the sustainable conservation of land, wildlife and building local livelihoods in and around Borana Conservancy.

The B2B workshop will gather Italian and international exhibitors interested in meeting Travel Agents and Tour Operators in a 2 days of meetings, lectures, training sessions and recreation moments.

London venue for Safari Roadshow is on The Thames
We're delighted to announce that the London venue for the Safari Roadshow will be aboard The Yacht London (www.theyachtlondon.com), which is moored at Victoria Embankment on the Thames. The Safari Roadshow which is in London from Wednesday 27th February - Friday 1st March will host different sessions for 40 exhibitors from Uganda, Tanzania, Zambia and Zimbabwe. Whilst Kamageo's Tim Henshall was keen to mention that "Buyers spaces are filling nicely, which is no surprise given the quality of the exhibitors", event organiser, Tracey Sutton insisted we emphasise "The Yacht is fully heated and there's plenty of space for all our meetings".

It was the fifth stage of the cycle race in stages organized by our neighbouring country, Gabon. The cyclists arrived in Equatorial Guinea across the Ebebiyin border and finished the race in Mongomo, with an urban circuit of 10km.

Good news for the painted wolves of the Luangwa Valley (Robin Pope Safaris)
Robin Pope SafarisRecent wild dog conservation success in the Luangwa Valley has it estimated to now have the largest population of wild dogs in the whole of Zambia. Despite being one of Africa’s most endangered carnivores, wild dogs (also fondly known as the painted wolf) in and around the South Luangwa National Park have enjoyed several years of increasing numbers, and there are now estimated to be approximately 350 adults and yearlings living in the Luangwa Valley.
