The Boma – Dinner & Drum Show and Lokuthula Lodges will follow suit in the next two weeks. The move, which will see the elimination of more than 80,000 plastic water bottles a year used across the Victoria Falls Safari Lodge estate in hotel rooms, restaurants and bars, follows the installation of the Natura water system earlier this month.

Whilst TANTOO (Tanzania Tourism Organisation) which was launched in mid-2018, is a private sector initiative and not a national tourist board account, it has been perceived by Uganda Tourism Board to be directly competitive to their work in the UK. Whilst obviously disappointed, Kamageo has been working for UTB since 2016 and has therefore accepted this decision. As a result, TANTOO will cease operations later this year.

Ethiopian Airlines Fly Fans to Champions League Final

Ethiopian Airlines partnered with ACC Aviation Group, to fly hundreds of fans to Madrid for the UEFA Champions League final between Liverpool FC and Tottenham Hotspur over the weekend. Excited fans travelled from three airports around the country to Madrid to watch the all English club final. Ethiopian chartered three widebody aircraft for SportOptions.com, the UK’s largest sports tour operator, with Reds fans travelling from Liverpool and Manchester aboard our Boeing 787-900 and 787-800 Dreamliners, while Spurs fans flew out of London Heathrow aboard our Airbus A350-900.
