Wilderness Safaris Welcomes All Guest To Botswana
By Tintswalo Shipalane, Wilderness SafarisAs Botswana’s borders open up to international travellers, Wilderness Safaris is thrilled to start welcoming all guests to its exclusive Jao, Vumbura and Kalahari concessions from mid-December 2020, and to continue hosting guests at Mombo, King’s Pool, Qorokwe and Jacana camps, which have been open to domestic travellers for several months.
In line with the company’s stringent health and hygiene standards, which follow the World Health Organisation’s protocols, Wilderness Safaris will ensure that guests are taken care of every step of the way. Its camps accommodate small numbers of guests and thus already have an advantage in that there is ample space for comfortable social distancing. The wide variety of activities on offer – from game drives to bush walks, and boating and mekoro activities (camp- and water-dependent) – also allow for physical distance between guests. The company’s stringent health measures on Wilderness Air and in camp, as well as those implemented by the Botswana government, offer tremendous peace of mind.
