PCR COVID-19 Testing at Basecamp Masai Mara

Basecamp Explorer Kenya is pleased to announce that we will be conducting on-site PCR COVID-19 testing at camp in Masai Mara for guests who require to present documented results before entering their country of residence. Testing is available for all guests staying at Basecamp Explorer Kenya Camps in Masai Mara and Mara Naboisho Conservancy including Basecamp Masai Mara, Eagle View, and Leopard Hill.

Testing will be facilitated by a qualified Clinical Officer, stationed at Basecamp Masai Mara from Monday to Saturday and the test results will be availed within 48 hours. We have also set up a partnership with a government-approved medical testing laboratory that will facilitate in providing guests with the Trusted Travel (TT) verification code as required.

The safety and wellbeing of our guests and employees continue to be our top priority, and we continue to reinforce the appropriate health and safety measures within all our camps in line with the up-to-date guidelines issued by Kenya’s Ministry of Health. All our guests are encouraged to discuss their travel plans and testing requirements at the time of booking. Our aim is to ensure guests have a seamless safari experience!
