Serengeti Balloon Safaris opens in Northern and Western Serengeti
By John Corse, Serengeti Balloon SafarisSerengeti Balloon Safaris is preparing to open its seasonal bases in Kirawira and Kogatende, ready for the 1st June.
In Kogatende, we will be flying from June until the middle of November, making the most of the wildebeest migration in this beautiful area. Last year we had many days of fabulous flights along the Mara river, with wildebeest galore as well as many other wonderful wildlife to be seen.
Kirawira, in Western Serengeti, will be open until the middle of October. This flight has the fascinating Grumeti river to follow, with its famously huge crocodiles and unique forest, this flight is usually the real favourite of our pilots, there are always so many interesting things to see!
