Lippa and Tarquin Wood, from House in the Wild are excited to introduce two incredible private villa offerings; Amani and Jamani House.

Both exclusive-use properties on Naretoi, a sought after location in the Mara, offering guests a private setting where they can experience a once-in-a-lifetime adventure with friends and family, enjoying quality time together on safari.

The experiences on offer at these luxurious bush properties will be managed by the team at House in the Wild.  Each property has its own team of staff including a chef and a private guide / host with exclusive use safari cars so guests have the freedom to plan their own schedules to fit in with the flow of their day.

Amani House, is a captivating and exquisitely beautiful private property ideal for families with older children and groups of friends travelling together.

The property is broken into separate buildings: A family home, a guest home, and the main home with living, dining, media, and billiard room.

Amani House has seven bedrooms available and can sleep up to 14 guests. There are four luxurious king ensuite rooms in the family house and three rooms in the guest house; one with a private balcony with a brass bath and fireplace and a twin room (can be a king bed) with a private verandah and fireplace and a bunk room that has four queen-sized bunk beds, perfect for older children.

There is a beautiful swimming pool, with a hot tub at one end and a pergola for outdoor dining alongside.  There is also a basketball / pickle ball court and a fully equipped gym. Each of the houses has a high definition tv with Apple TV, and the main house has an indoor and outdoor Sonos system.

Jamani House is set on the top of a meander of the Mara River, with breathtaking views across an expansive lawn looking out across the Naretoi plains towards the Kileleoni Hill.

The house is an architectural masterpiece, featuring a spacious living room with a fireplace, a gathering terrace with an open bar and a  large dining room with a fireplace.

Jamani House has five bedrooms, with a total capacity of 12 people - 8 adults plus up to 4 teenagers in the bunk room.

The living room, bar and dining area are in the main building with separate buildings for the uniquely designed guest rooms, all situated to get the best views across the plains and over the river.

A small library features a flat screen TV equipped with Apple TV. Sustainably grown teak flooring, custom colour plaster walls and unique concrete surfaces are just a few of the features of this remarkable home.  The sundowner deck on top of the library is the perfect spot for entertaining and catching up as the sun sets.

The world class game experience includes game drives looking for the big cats or Wild Dogs often spotted throughout the Enonkishu, Lemek and Ol Choro Conservancies. Enonkishu is part of a pioneering re-wilding program where wildlife thrives on community owned land in a holistically managed conservation project.

Helicopter trips can be arranged with Endeavors Far Beyond, based at the Mara Elephant Project who can give our guests a different perspective of the Mara and surrounding areas, as well as the conservation projects helping to protect the wildlife in the region. Guests could also be a part of a life changing and inspirational “Safari with a Wild Impact” where guests have the opportunity to get involved and support the work done not only in Enonkishu but further beyond with the Maa Trust, Mara Predator Project or the Mara Elephant Project.

All bookings can be done through Bush and Beyond and for more information please see our website link.
