Ol Lentille – new owners, new contemporary African interiors

Ol Lentille in northern Kenya’s Laikipia is excited to announce new owners – Andre and Laura Cohen (who are previous guests) saw an exciting opportunity to elevate the whole Ol Lentille experience and continue all the great community and conservation work of the previous owners.

There is a gap in the market for contemporary African interiors in East Africa and Ol Lentille will soon showcase and bring a very different look and feel to northern Kenya.

Cate Simpson of Reflecting Africa, has completely re-imagined Ol Lentille, bringing a luxurious and contemporary African sensibility to the lodge, inspired by the flora of our special part of Laikipia. Some of you may know Cate from her years of interior design work for Wilderness and North Island. See the new interiors

The first shipments of furniture and fixtures are already on the way, and by early September, Ol Lentille will be a stunning new lodge, unlike any other property in northern Kenya. The new interiors will go in between guests bookings.

The renderings will give you an idea of the new design direction. Our four exclusive use villas will be renamed, according to local Laikipia plants – we will in essence be bringing the outside inside. We then plan to re-photograph the property in mid-September and will be updating our website and sharing new photographs directly with the market at that point.
