Alpha Travel, Ranger Safaris and Pollman’s Tours and Safaris are collectively known as the ARP Group. As a leading East Africa Destination Management Company, with over 90 years experience, we pride ourselves in providing a quality service, where safaris are memorable, educational and fun. Our operations are strategically located in Tanzania and Kenya, ideally suited to cater for any safari, beach or conference requirement. At a glance, a few of ARP’s assets include:

· London Sales and Marketing office.

· Offices in all major East Africa towns, destinations and airports.

· Networked operations and reservation system.

· Continual staff development and training programmes.

· An extremely knowledgeable and experienced team, with first class guides.

· Modern vehicles, ranging from 4x4 vehicles to luxury coaches . Modern workshops to maintain our modern fleet including satellite garages for any assistance during safari. IATA ticketing and travel agency in Mombasa.

· Serengeti Explorer Camp featuring an all new look with spacious new tents offering running water, en suite facilities and exceptional service, Serengeti Explorer Camp brings you closer to the action. The camp moves three times during the year so that its location is always near the best game viewing.

The small size of the camp, with only 8 deluxe tents and 2 family tents, means that guests enjoy an intimate, personalised experience. A private tent valet will look after every need from dusting off the luggage on arrival to bringing a selection of fresh fruit and hot beverages in the early morning before a game drive. The camp also features an elegantly appointed lounge tent and an all new dining tent so travellers can enjoy the company of fellow adventurers and swap stories of the day’s wildlife viewing.

Our Commitment to Responsible Tourism

Members of ARP Travel Group consider the importance of protecting the environment and the communities in which we operate as one of our highest priorities. We participate in a wide range of initiatives that foster development of the people of Africa ranging from sponsorship of students to visits to communities. Our travellers’ visits generate revenue for the communities to invest in locally managed projects.
We have a number of guidelines that our staff follow to reduce the consumption of paper and other consumables wherever possible. We look to recycle at every opportunity in all areas of our business to help save our planet. Past efforts have included student scholarships, eye
clinics, reforestation projects, water for villages and water dam projects in the bush. We have built relationships with a number of orphanages and schools helping the future of Africa stay bright.
