Jacada Travel is a bespoke travel company on a mission to create positive impact around the world through travel. We custom-design private journeys for those who wish to go beyond the typical and venture deeper, getting away from the crowds and experiencing something truly authentic and special. Our company was started in 2008 by Alex Malcolm, who was on a mission to provide a more passionate, more responsive and more caring travel experience. We now have offices on four continents, and Jacada’s consistent growth has never compromised Alex’s vision. Small is how we began; boutique and personal is how we remain.

Our Commitment to Responsible Tourism
Responsible tourism is key to our company ethics. We use lodges and hotels that we know to have the same standards as us and follow the small footprint, luxury safari model that we believe to be the most responsible.
We support a number of charities through the profits of our African tours and safaris, including conservation project Rhinos Without Borders and the community charity Uthando.
In January 2015, our event at the Royal Geographical Society in London raised over £10,500 for rhino conservation projects in Botswana and South Africa.
Rhinos Without Borders aim to translocate 100 rhinos from South Africa, where they are at high risk of poaching, to the safety of Botswana.
Community charity Uthando runs several projects in and around Cape Town. One project we recently supported was Isiseko Educare, a daycare centre which takes care of small children during the day. It now has the capacity for over 60 children.
