Sangha Lodge is situated in the heart of the Congo Rainforest in the Dzanga Sangha Protected area in the Central African Republic. The lodge has easy access to the iconic Dzanga Bai, Habituated Lowland Gorillas, and thousands of square Kilometres of rainforest wilderness. Rod and Tamar who run the lodge are committed conservationists and endured 3 years of civil war in order to continue their conservation work without any Tourism income. They have become famous for their pioneering work on pangolins and have a project that researches two species of pangolins.
