Zara Tours (ZARA Tanzania Adventures) is a local outfitter based in Moshi, Tanzania. Founded 30 years ago by Tanzanian woman Zainab Ansell, has evolved into Tanzania’s largest Kilimanjaro outfitter and one of the country’s largest safari operators, with daily departures up the Kilimanjaro Mountain with a choice of six routes. We put more people on the Kilimanjaro summit than any other company. In addition, weekly departures are available on seven group safari itineraries through the wild areas and amazing bush lands. We have friendly, experienced and professional officials for the safaris and our standard properties such as two hotels, Springlands and Highview, as well as at our tented camps. Your safety and comfort are foremost as we bring your dreams to life and craft them into lifelong memories. Zara Charity and Zara Tours Sponsors the Indian Ocean Coastline Clean up once again

Ocean plastic is estimated to kill millions of marine animals every year. Nearly 700 species, including endangered ones, are known to have been affected by it. Some are harmed visibly—strangled by abandoned fishing nets or discarded six-pack rings. Many more are probably harmed invisibly. Marine species of all sizes now eat micro-plastics, the bits smaller than one-fifth of an inch across. As an advocate for Sustainable Tourism Development.  Zara Charity alongside TESO and Zara Foundation  took to the Indian Ocean Coastline in Tanga again earlier this November.

Zara Tanzania Adventures Takes Responsibility for Porters Health on Mt. Kilimanjaro

It is almost impossible to summit the roof of Africa without the support of Porters; they are literally the backbone of the trekking world. Everything you see in the mountains that nature didn't put there – a porter did. For trekkers, the trail can be hard, the air thin, and the gear REALLY heavy. Porters spend their lives carrying loads in the mountains. They are just there to make sure everything a trekker will need is where they will need it, when they will need it. As a dedicated, responsible and ethical travel company. In April 2018 Zara Tanzania Adventurers Covered 1,200 Porters with Health Insurance, becoming the first tour company in Tanzania to cover mass low-income earner mountain crew with health insurance.
