Walking Africa for the Rhino

Paul Jennings in South Africa has launched a campaign to raise awareness of the plight of the Rhino in Southern Africa. Paul and Illona used to work together in the Natal Parks Board.

He and his friend Sboniso are walking the length of South Africa, visiting schools and talking to anyone who will listen about the plight of the Rhino. To date this year 174 Rhino have been slaughtered and everyone needs to be aware that unless there is more support for the institutions that protect the rhino, the species will be eradicated.

Paul and Sboniso are supported only by the people along the way. One walks and the other drives a vehicle with a caravan.
