South African Tourism appoints new CMO

South African Tourism (SAT) has appointed online digital marketing specialist and integrated marketing consultant Janine Hutton as its new chief marketing officer (CMO), effective February 2013.
Hutton takes over as CMO of SAT from Roshene Singh, who is retiring this December after 10 years with the organisation.She is currently the co-founder and owner of the successful digital strategy and marketing company, Social Act, and is also a partner at Ivy League’s Africa office.

She has over 15 years of senior management experience, and was previously a director and exco board member at The Nielson Company, an MD and exco board member at Ogilvy Interactive, and MD at digital strategy company Immedia.
