Kenya's tourism revenue on the rise

Zambia new departure tax
The Airports Authority in Zambia have introduced a new "Development and Infrastructure" tax last week, applicable to all passengers flying out of Lusaka, Livingstone and Mfuwe airports and effective immediately. For passengers taking domestic charter flights out of these 3 airports there will be an increase in the departure taxes that they pay from 58 Kwacha (about $11) to 85 Kwacha ($16). Fastjet relaunches Kili service
Fastjet will relaunch a service from Zanzibar to Kilimanjaro on July 1st. Flights will be on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays. The airline will soon begin services to South Africa, Zambia and Rwanda.
