Swiss airline Edelweiss: Zürich to Cape Town
Swiss airline Edelweiss, which specialises in leisure travel, will return to Cape Town for the third consecutive year. It will start seasonal flights between Cape Town and Zürich as from this month. The airline will offer two direct daytime flights each way per week between September 30 2013 and May 2 2014. Its flights to Cape Town in the last two years brought tourists from Switzerland, Britain, Germany, Italy and other European countries.

British Airways - Update on African Destinations
British Airways has announced that it is growing its African frequencies and improving connectivity through London Heathrow. In West Africa it will increase its daily services to Ghana by three a week from October 27. This will bring the total number of weekly services up to 10. It will also add a fourth weekly service to Sierra Leone and Liberia. In East Africa it will add an additional frequency to Uganda to offer four weekly flights.
